Same thing, Different day: 8 IN A ROW!

Oh damn, the Yankees are on FIRE. The most on fire. We’re hotter than Emily Ratajkowski (yes, I googled how to spell her name) and Adriana Lima combined..hotter than Steph Curry from 3 too.

I keep expecting this team to cool off, and start heading back down towards reality, and then, boom, we’re up 10-0 in the 2nd inning. 10-0 IN THE 2ND. I think Ron Burgundy can sum it up best:

As you can tell, A LOT of runs were scored – let me just rattle off a few of the big stats.

Teddy Bear Gary had a 2 run double, Gleyber had a RBI single, Judge had a RBI double, Miggy Andújar had a RBI double, and Hicksy had a 2 run triple! Production from all throughout the lineup, I love it.

I don’t know what surprises me more. The fact that we scored 11 runs without hitting a single homer, or Neil Walker!

Can’t forget about Neil! He added two RBI singles and hallelujah! We needed that from you Neil, you’ve been scrubbing it up like a Swiffer pad recently. Good to see you finally getting some big knocks.

This lineup is so fun to watch when we’re clicking like this. The bats are firing on all cylinders and this domination is, surely, just a taste of what it is to come. That’s baseball, baby.

I’m sure we’ll go through a couple slumps in the next few months, but when this offense is in sync, nobody will be able to stop us. Nobody.

Switching to the pitching, it was Tanaka Saturday, everybody! Don’t be alarmed, people.

I’m sure there were some of you who were watching Masa in the zone last night and thought to yourselves, “wait, is today Tuesday?! Did I skip a whole day at work?” No, don’t worry, it was indeed Saturday. Shocking right?

Despite it being Saturday, Tanaka went out and gave an awesome performance! Now, our bats helped him out greatly, but you cannot deny that stat line: 6 innings, 2 hits, 1 ER, 2 walks, 9 strikeouts. That is a fuckin’ great start Masa!

Give yourself a pat on the back! Or a very enthusiastic, happy clap. Either or.

I’m going to keep this post pretty brief today, because it is getting tough to report on updated news – we just keep on winning baseball games!

We already won this “away” series against the Angels. I put away in quotes because has this really been a road series?

Yankee fans showed up in droves in Anaheim! I’m not from SoCal, but I’m pretty sure that people do not make the trip to Anaheim except if they’re going to Disney Land. But when the Yankees are in town, that ballpark turns into Yankee Stadium West!

We’re trying for the sweep tonight, let’s get it! Big CC on the bump!

This is the second straight game where Carsten Charles is pitching after a win…he must be so confused and rattled.

We head over to Houston for a massive ALCS rematch. I’m goddamn pumped.

Let’s finish off the Angels and head over to Texas! Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m in the mood for some good ol’ Texas BBQ! I’d like to order a BBQ pulled Astro with a side of coleslaw.

(Yes, I realize that an Astro is a star. I think a star would taste great if it was doused in BBQ sauce, don’t judge me)
