The offseason is far from finished, but Spring Training is now one month away, and there is a more than zero percent chance that the New York Yankees have completed their major offseason transactions. The team you start the season with is never the team you end the season with, but it is about time we project the opening day lineup if the season were to hypothetically start tomorrow. With Didi Gregorius out and Manny Machado and Bryce Harper seemingly out of the picture, who would be on that Opening Day 25-man crew? This is a long blog, so I'm...

After that extremely frustrating loss on Thursday, which made me want to bodycheck a DJ (if you're new to these recaps, you must be confused), we needed a big win on Friday night. There were good vibes heading into this game, with the reports officially confirmed about Andrew McCutchen heading into the Bronx. Sadly, my initial hopes for him to be in the lineup proved to not become a reality.  I literally was checking Twitter on Friday constantly, waiting to see a nice airplane tweet about Cutch arriving at LaGuardia or JFK. After all, the first reports of him being traded were...

SWEEEEP. An absolute beatdown of the Baltimore Orioles. Finally. After having them be a real pain in our ass all year long, we finally put this scrub team in their place. To make things EVEN BETTER, the Red Sox were SWEPT by the Rays this weekend!    I’m all set with the Rays for now. — Jared Carrabis (@Jared_Carrabis) August 26, 2018     And we're now back to 6 games behind them! We're creeping up on them! Let's gooo! Last night, we had Sevy on the mound. Once again, he wasn't back to full "Cy Young Sevy" form, but he...

WOOO. OFFENSE! OFFENSE IS FUN! LET'S KEEP DOING THAT. We scored a lot of runs on Saturday! AND, hit a shit ton of homers. In a way, there is something quite eloquent about writing a phrase like "shit ton." It can really get your point across, without a bunch of fluffy, Ivy League school words.  Now, don't get me wrong, I can step my vocabularly game up and hang with the best of them. Even if I didn't go to an Ivy League school... But my point is, sometimes you can get your point across by using an easier phrase...like...

Ugh.  I'm so tired of these deflating losses. Having the Mets shitty offense knock 5 home runs against us definitely constitutes as "deflating". It was even more deflating because of who the home run hitters were. One was hit by Todd Frazier, who has been slumping for the Mets lately (more on this later). Obviously he played for us last year and, although he is old, I wish we could have kept him on in some capacity.  He was only a Yankee for a brief period, but damn, he made an impact. I mean, look at this guy! I miss you,...
